Another Tylvinian Tale is a furry Visual Novel made in Ren'Py about causality, connections, life, and love. You play a character of your own creation and build a story of your own as you navigate work, life, and relationships with the cast of Tylvinian Tales.

Meet Ryder, David, Davina, Trace, and many more in the city of Tylvin. It's your choice to decide who to befriend, or even fall in love with. Your choices shape the story, and the way you interact with those around you determines everything.

Most of the cast bear two possible routes, a Friendship route and a Romance route, allowing you to choose whether you would like to keep things platonic, or pursue more.

There is also a secret character with a Friendship and Romance route, and 2 secret routes involving known characters available as well for those who care to discover them~

Major Cast members:

David Seltz - A light-hearted Caxy (half-cat, half-fox) with a zeal for life and fun. He's always up for a night on the town, and is rarely seen very far from his best friend and protector, Ryder. Twin to Davina, adoptive uncle to Moss. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Ryder Trayson - A loyal and protective Relanian Greatwolf, Ryder has a strong moral compass and acts on it without hesitation. Respectful and somewhat private, he holds others to the same standards he holds himself to, and isn't afraid to call it like he sees it, though he's as likely to not call it at all if he feels it's not the time or place. Often seen hanging around David, and is a major source of Scary Dog Privilege™ for the little hybrid. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Davina Seltz - A motherly and free-spirited Caxy (half-cat, half-fox) that is staying in Tylvin at one of the local hotels for the month, as part of a business agreement with one of the local corporations. She's flirty and carefree, and always happy to help in any way she's able to. Twin to David Seltz, adoptive mother to Moss Seltz. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Moss Seltz - A cheerful and athletic young Caxling (teenage Caxy), staying at the hotel with their adoptive mother Davina. They are understanding, curious, and creative, and can often be found practicing their free-running and parkour skills with Trace, wandering the various parks around town, or hitting the gym or gun range with Ryder. [Routes include Friendship only.]

Trace Parker - A cocky and energetic fox, Trace is almost always abusing his Blessing, running from place to place, or both. Aerokinetic and athletic, he's the top Silver-ranked runner in the underground organization, the Tylvinian Free-Runner's League. With a general disregard for any law he deems inconvenient, he's usually up to some kind of trouble, and loves getting others into it with him. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Kaleb Killian - Kaleb is a wealthy business mogul, owning half the city and running the largest portion of Tylvin’s underground black market. Originally the reason the player moved to Tylvin, and the catalyst that sets off the rest of the over-arching storyline. Cold and calculating, Kaleb cares for nothing except his own influence, and the growth of that influence. [Cannot be befriended or romanced]

Luka Mikaelson - A slow-minded and soft-spoken furred dragon, with a love of all things gentle and pure. Luka is sweet, caring, and far wiser than he seems. Excellent with kids, and incredibly patient with adults too, he's a nurturing soul that can be relied on to always lend an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and arms to hold you. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Olivia Bo - A gentle and considerate cheetah, she's a schoolteacher for kindergarten and first-grade students at Tylvin Tots Academy. She teaches with a passion for education that her students adore. She can be a bit fiery though, and those who disrespect her or her students learn this first-hand. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Merissa Thornhall - A hyena lady that knows her worth and won't settle for being treated any lesser. She's a bartender and a mother of two, so good luck surprising her. She's seen a little of everything. Her attitude is friendly, playful, and she has a habit of mothering those around her, trying to help them with what she feels is best for them, though she does her best not to meddle so much as to cause trouble. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Devon Masters - A common possum, and as criminal as they come. Revels in causing and witnessing suffering, and finds joy in surrounding himself with others who enjoy such as well. There isn't much else to say that won't give away too much, so just know he's a bastard and proud of it. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Nivo Stuarts - A sweet and eager-to-please flying fox bat, Nivo is a playful pup of a person. An amateur internet streamer, gamer, and lover of all things nightclub, Nivo is a mess of nerd and club aesthetics, with the energy and mannerisms befitting a puppy more than a grown bat. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Krieger Tarovich - Krieger is a Heavusi, and the owner of a smithing shop in Tylvin. He is a proud and compassionate person with a penchant for using his Blessing to the benefit of others. Through his pride is humility and a respect for those around him that many Heavusi lack, making him somewhat interesting to others of his kind. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Savannah Peyton - A lynx with a mind for research and observation, she's an investigative journalist looking for a chance to earn her way to the front page of the paper. She's clever, and quick-witted, but a little on the reckless side. Her habits aren't for the faint of heart, but at least she's not risking her life...right? [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Sasha Nillici - A bluejay with a passion for art, always found looking for a new subject to translate onto canvas. She sees everything through an artist's lens, remarking on the details, the textures, appreciating everything around her simply for what it is. A little on the shy side, she's slower to open up, but there's more to this bird than meets the eye... [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Pax - A chaotic and spirited individual, Pax loves to cause confusion and seeks joy in the thrills life offers. Whether it's running from the cops out of a condemned zone or just swiping a bottle of strawberry milk from a store freezer, they enjoy the excitement of harmless lawbreaking almost as much as they enjoy the calm of sitting down and playing something on their handhelds with a friend. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]

Garret Han - A quiet and reserved tiger, Garret has a few things in common with an egg: hard-shelled, soft inside, and better after you've warmed them up. He likes to keep to himself, and prefers a quiet night in over the hustle and bustle of the city. Despite this, he works security at the top nightclub in town, and gets his fill of people there. [Routes include Friendship and Romance]
